How the AirCoat 423 High-Pressure Filter Protects Fluid Flow
The AirCoat 423 high-pressure filter receives pressurized coating from the fluid pump and removes fine contamination before material continues toward the high-pressure fluid regulator, spray hose, gun, and tip. This reduces tip blockage, protects downstream components, and supports a more stable spray pattern.
Titan 0533586 filter cap retains Titan 0533513 spring, Titan 0533514 60-mesh filter element, and Titan 0533515 filter support inside Titan 0533524 filter body. The spring maintains the assembled filter stack while the support stabilizes the element during high-pressure operation.
Titan 0533533 PTFE O-ring and Titan 0533523 thin PTFE gasket seal the filter-cap and body interface. These chemical-resistant seals must remain free from cuts, flattening, dried coating, scratches, and assembly damage.
Two Titan 0533525 pipe plugs close unused filter-body ports. Titan 0533518 and 0533516 nipples connect the filter to adjoining fluid-system components, while Titan 0533460 provides the listed connection used with the return and relief arrangement.
Titan 0533517 bleed-valve assembly provides controlled pressure relief and recirculation. Titan 0533127 return-tube assembly routes relieved coating back toward the material container. Both components must remain clear, securely connected, and leak-free.
Titan specifies a 5,000 psi maximum working pressure, 15 square inches of filter area, and stainless-steel/PTFE wetted parts. The element filters from the outside inward, so its exterior surface requires thorough cleaning with a compatible solvent.
