How the AirCoat 423 Air Motor Produces Pump Motion
The Titan AirCoat 423 Air Motor Assembly converts regulated compressed air into reciprocating mechanical movement that drives the fluid pump. Its cylinder, piston, piston rod, motor base, trip rod, valve actuator, toggle mechanism, valve stems, and poppets work together to reverse airflow automatically at the end of each stroke.
Compressed air acts on the piston inside Titan 0533366 air motor cylinder. The piston and Titan 0533385 piston rod travel through the motor base while the trip rod, yoke, actuator, toggle arms, rockers, springs, and pins shift the inlet and exhaust valves. This alternating valve action changes which side of the piston receives pressure and keeps the motor cycling.
The AirCoat 423 uses Titan 0533382 piston, 0533379 trip rod, 0533372 valve actuator, 0533373 trip rod yoke, 0533369 toggle rockers, 0533370 springs, 0533371 toggle arms, and 0533375 toggle pins. Precise condition and adjustment of these parts are critical to reliable stroke reversal.
