The Titan Impact X 440 is listed by Titan at 0.54 gpm and 3300 psi, with a 0.023 inch maximum tip, and Titan lists an RX-80 gun with a 517 HEA tip. Its parts are documented on six diagram pages: main assembly, suction set, drive assembly, fluid section, cart and filter assembly. Most available items are processed for shipment within about 1-2 business days, though some are ordered from the manufacturer after you order; see Shipping Info.
What Is the Impact X 440?
The Titan Impact X 440 is an electric piston-pump airless sprayer from Titan's Impact X line. Titan lists 0.54 gpm maximum delivery, 3300 psi maximum pressure, a 0.023 inch maximum tip for one gun and a DuraLife HE brushless motor. It is described for residential, property maintenance and small commercial work with paints, primers, stains, lacquers and enamels. Titan also lists Logix Adaptive Pressure Control, which it says adjusts pump speed and power based on tip size, a tool-free fluid section it calls MaxFX, and a vertical filter housing. Titan lists a weekly volume of 50-100 gallons for it. Check your manual for your own machine. For the family overview see Titan Impact X Parts Guide.
What Titan Lists With It
Titan's X 440 page lists an RX-80 spray gun with a 517 HEA tip. We have not verified anything else in the box, so check the contents of your own unit and your manual before ordering hose or other accessories. The Impact X 440 accessories page shows the guns, hoses, gun filters, Piston Lube and Liquid Shield the site lists for this model.
Main Assembly Parts
The main assembly diagram lists the left leg assembly 2441852A, right leg assembly 2441853A, pail hook assembly 2426230A, pusher stem assembly 2423817A, the main hardware kit 2440442, the front shroud 2425881A, the rear motor shroud 2425879A, the siphon and return tubes, the inlet screen and the drip cup.
Suction Set and Drive Parts
The suction set diagram lists the siphon tube assembly 2426336, the return tube 2426337, the 700-805 inlet screen filter, O-rings, a retaining clip and clips. The drive assembly diagram lists the main housing assembly 2425405A, connecting rod assembly 2426582A, crankshaft/gear assembly 704-173A, 2nd stage gear 704-176, motor fan assembly 2425488A, the potentiometer 2423449, the control knob 805-354 and the 15A fuse 800-929.
Fluid Section Parts
The fluid section diagram shows where the material moves on each pump stroke. The parts it lists include:
- Piston rod 2420579A, piston assembly 2420580A and retainer 2420537, the moving core of the pump.
- Upper piston guide 700-587, the Teflon ring/seal 700-821 and the Viton O-ring 800-332.
- Outlet valve ball 50164, outlet valve seat 704-558 and outlet valve retainer 13481.

- Repacking kit 704-586B.
Worn valve balls and seats and worn packings are common reasons for pulsing or lost pressure on piston-pump sprayers. For the symptom-to-part logic, read Impact X Troubleshooting.
Cart Assembly Parts
The cart assembly diagram lists the cart weldment 2426732A, cart frame kit 2440403, handle assembly kit 2426619A, wheel 0278373, wheel spacer 0294534, hub cap 9890104 and plugs. These parts do not affect spray performance but let you reposition the machine around a job site.
Filter Assembly Parts
The filter assembly diagram lists the filter cap 2424931A, filter bowl 2424886A, filter core 2424932, the 60 mesh filter 2424933, O-ring 2424934, by-pass valve assembly 2440405, transducer 2427607A and the outlet and return tube fittings. Titan says the vertical filter housing cleans up to three times faster using as little as one third of the water.
How It Compares to the Original Impact 440
Titan lists the same 0.54 gpm, 3300 psi and 0.023 inch tip for the original Impact 440 and the Impact X 440, but they are different machines with their own diagram pages. The diagrams show the same part number on both for several fluid section parts: inlet ball 762-145, outlet ball 50164, inlet cage 704-703, upper piston guide 700-587, seat O-ring 762-058 and the repacking kit 704-586B. The pump piston, filter and drive parts carry different numbers, so confirm which machine you own before ordering. Impact 440 vs Impact X 440 goes through the differences, and Which Titan 440 Do You Have? helps you identify yours.
Accessories on the Diagram
The accessories page for this model lists RX-80 and RX-Pro guns, the 0089957 coarse gun filter, a 3300 psi whip hose 316-506 and a 50 foot by 3/8 inch 3300 psi hose 0291006, Piston Lube and Liquid Shield. Never run a hose, gun or tip guard above the lowest pressure rating in the system, and check your manual for the hose your machine needs. For kits, Impact X Repair Kits Explained shows what is inside them. To learn to read the callouts, see Impact X Parts Diagram.
