The Titan AirCoat 620 Hopper Assembly is the material-supply section that stores coating and delivers it directly to the fluid pump of the AirCoat 620 Air-Assisted Airless Spray System. This compact feed arrangement is suited to applications where operators need controlled material handling, efficient color changes, reduced coating waste, and convenient operation with smaller production quantities.
Unlike a siphon system that draws material from a separate container, the hopper positions the coating supply close to the pump inlet. Gravity assists material movement toward the fluid section, helping the pump prime efficiently and maintain a dependable supply of coating during spraying. The shorter material path can also reduce the amount of coating required to fill and flush the system.
The hopper assembly includes the material container and the supporting connection, sealing, filtering, mounting, and fluid-routing components that transfer coating into the pump. These parts must remain clean, securely fitted, and correctly sealed to prevent air entry, material leakage, restricted flow, contamination, and interruptions in pump operation.
During operation, coating placed in the hopper moves through the outlet and connected fluid passage toward the pump inlet. The pump then pressurizes the material and sends it through the high-pressure filter and fluid regulator before it reaches the spray hose and AirCoat gun. Compressed assist air introduced at the gun improves atomization and spray-pattern control while the hopper maintains the coating supply required by the fluid-delivery system.
A properly maintained AirCoat 620 Hopper Assembly supports reliable priming, steady material flow, easier cleaning, and efficient coating changes.
