Know the machine first
The PowrLiner 850 is Titan's entry clutch-driven line striper, rated at 3000 psi and 0.33 gpm, with a 37.7 cc 4-stroke engine, a 1/4" x 50 ft hose and one LX-40 gun. Older manuals carry the SpeeFlo name, so "Speeflo PowrLiner 850" and "Titan PowrLiner 850" are the same product line. Titan lists it as designed for one operator and a 5-gallon pail, which is why the parts are compact and the diagrams short.

The repacking kit is the part most owners buy for this assembly. Titan's manual calls for Piston Lube in the oil cup to protect the packings, and the 850 also has an AutoOiler button that delivers oil from its reservoir to the packings.
Main assembly: engine side, filter and hose
The Main Assembly page holds what sits around the engine and the paint inlet: the 0293929 Clutch Assembly, the 0293966 recoil starter, the 0293930 switch, the 0293933 front cover, the 0293927 filter cover and the 0293932 Suction Set Assembly. The same page lists the 316-505 50' Spray Hose and the 0293169 gun cable.
The 850's manual lists a 10-mesh inlet filter, often called a rock catcher, on the suction side. Cleaning it is part of every job, so the suction set and filter cover are parts you may look up more than once.
Spray gun: the part that makes the line
The Spray Gun page is short and busy. It lists the 759-369 Gun Assembly, the 661-010A Black Guard Assembly, two tip seals (651-020 and 0297007), a 581-060 White Filter, a spring and a fitting.
- Gun filter (581-060): the manual says to clean it after every use, with warm soapy water for latex and mineral spirits for oil-based.
- Tip seals: worn seals let paint leak behind the tip.
- Tip: the TR1 419 is the tip that ships with the machine; the accessories page lists other TR1 sizes.
Gun holder and cart
The Gun Holder Assembly page covers the clamp knob, actuator lever, bearings, springs and screws that position the gun. Titan says the 850's gun mount is reversible, so it can stripe from the front or the rear tire; those parts are what wear if the gun will not hold its angle. The Cart Assembly page lists the handle grip, rear wheels (sold as a pair), lever assembly, clamp knob and gun holder assembly.
