The Titan GM 3600 is an air-assisted airless spray gun. Titan rates it for a maximum operating pressure of 3600 psi (24.8 MPa) and a maximum air input pressure of 115 psi. It has a stainless steel fluid passage, an inline filter and a reversible tip system, and it works with standard reversible tips and Brilliant Flat Tips.
What air-assisted airless means
A plain airless gun atomises coating with fluid pressure alone. An air-assisted airless gun combines fluid pressure with a small amount of air, which gives finer atomisation at a lower fluid pressure. That is why the GM 3600 has two ratings to watch: one for the fluid side and one for the air side. It is a different kind of gun from the HVLP guns, which use turbine air to atomise at low pressure.
We make no claims here about finish quality or transfer efficiency, because Titan's page gives no figures we can repeat. What we can give you is what Titan states and the parts the site lists for the gun.

Two pressures matter on this gun: 3600 psi for fluid and 115 psi for air. Keep every component in the system, hose included, at or above the rating that applies to it.
Two versions: reversible guard or flat guard
Titan sells the GM 3600 in two versions, one with a reversible tip guard and one with a flat tip guard. The site lists the flat guard gun as 2412194, GM 3600 AirCoat Gun with Flat Tip Guard. It also lists two kits that add a hose and a tip: 0524219 with a reversible tip and 0524220 with a flat tip.
Choose by the tip you plan to spray with. Titan pairs the reversible tip guard with reversible tips and the flat tip guard with flat tips, so if you want to change tip type, check the guard before you buy the tip. Our tip guards page shows the guards Titan offers.
Tips that work with it
Titan says the GM 3600 works with standard reversible tips and with Brilliant Flat Tips. The flat tips are a separate product line with their own parts: for example the 0526517 517 Brilliant Flat Tip and the 0526513 513 Brilliant Flat Tip. See the Brilliant Flat Tips page for the full range.
We have not verified tip size recommendations for this gun, so we do not give a size here. Pick a tip from the coating manufacturer's guidance and your own test pattern, and confirm with us if you are not sure the tip fits.
