The 0509653 back-up ring is a supportive component used in conjunction with O-rings in high-pressure sealing applications within compatible sprayer pumps. It is specifically designed for use with Advantage GPX 220; Advantage GPX 165; SprayTech GPX 165; SprayTech GPX 220; SprayTech GPX1600; and SprayTech LC1600 models. Back-up rings are installed on the low-pressure side of an O-ring to prevent the O-ring from extruding into the clearance gap between mating parts under high pressure.
