The Titan AirCoat 620 Main Assembly brings together the principal air-control, fluid-delivery, filtration, regulation, and structural components required for professional air-assisted airless spraying. It forms the central operating platform of the machine, coordinating compressed-air power with controlled coating pressure to deliver consistent material flow and refined atomization at the spray gun.
Compressed air enters the system through the main air-control components, where it is regulated and distributed to the pneumatic drive and the gun’s assist-air circuit. The air motor converts this compressed-air supply into reciprocating mechanical movement, driving the fluid pump through repeated intake and discharge strokes. This arrangement allows the sprayer to develop the fluid pressure needed for productive coating application without relying on an electric drive motor.
Coating reaches the main assembly through the hopper or optional suction set and enters the pump head assembly. The pump draws in the material, pressurizes it, and directs it through the fluid-control system. Filtration components remove contaminants that could restrict material flow or affect finish quality, while the fluid regulator helps maintain the pressure selected for the coating, spray tip, and application requirements.
The main assembly incorporates the air motor, pump head, air regulators, pressure gauges, fluid regulator, filter components, valves, manifolds, hoses, fittings, mounting hardware, and related connections that support machine operation. These components must remain correctly assembled, securely connected, and properly maintained to prevent air leakage, coating leakage, restricted flow, unstable pressure, or irregular pump cycling.
At the spray gun, the pressurized coating is combined with regulated assist air. Fluid pressure provides material delivery and initial atomization, while the surrounding air further refines the spray pattern. This coordinated process helps the AirCoat 620 produce a controlled finish with improved transfer efficiency, softer pattern edges, and less overspray than conventional airless spraying alone.
A properly maintained AirCoat 620 Main Assembly supports reliable priming, steady pump operation, accurate air and fluid adjustment, consistent spray-pattern development, and efficient coating use. Worn seals, obstructed filters, damaged hoses, leaking fittings, contaminated regulators, or deteriorated valve components can cause pressure fluctuations, poor atomization, material leakage, excessive pump cycling, or reduced production performance.
