The Titan Impact 1040 breaks down into five assemblies on this site's diagrams: the main assembly with the controls, the fluid section that pumps the coating, the drive assembly that turns the motor into pump stroke, the upright cart and the filter assembly. Knowing what is on each diagram makes it faster to match a symptom to a part. AllTitanParts.com, based in Houston, Texas, supplies genuine OEM parts. Most available items are processed for shipment within about 1-2 business days.

The Impact 1040 at a Glance
The Titan Impact 1040 is an electric piston-pump airless sprayer. Titan lists 1.15 gpm maximum delivery, a 0.033 inch maximum tip with one gun (0.022 inch with two guns), 3300 psi maximum pressure and a 2.5 hp brushless motor. Titan lists an RX-Pro gun, a 517 tip and 50 feet of 1/4 inch airless hose with the sprayer. Below, each assembly is matched to the diagram page on this site. Part numbers are for identification and fitment; your manual remains the guide for service steps, and it is available on the manuals page.
Main Assembly: Control and Power
The 1040 main assembly is the largest diagram on the machine. It lists the motor shroud (805-425), the control panel assembly (0552550A), the fuse block (0522210), the transducer assembly (800-437), the potentiometer (0508579), the control knob (805-354), the power switch (9850936), the face plate oiler assembly (805-250A) and the front and back cover handles (805-333, 805-332). Titan lists an AutoOiler on the 1040, which is a push button that sends oil to the packings, and the oiler face plate is on this diagram.
Fluid Section: Where the Pressure Happens
The fluid section assembly (P/N 0552603A) is the pump end. Its diagram lists the outlet valve ball (9841502), outlet valve seat (0294516), inlet ball (51519), inlet seat (00310), outlet valve seal (800-348), outlet valve retainer (800-336), upper cage (0507452), Viton O-ring (800-332), PTFE back-up ring (800-333), wear ring (800-354), lower packing assembly (800-355A) and lower housing (800-352). A repacking kit (0558740) is listed for the 1040 and 1140. Titan says the PermaLife cylinder never wears and never needs replacing; the packings, seats, balls and piston rod still wear, so those are the parts to look at.
Drive Assembly: Motor to Pump
The drive assembly sits between the motor and the fluid section. The diagram lists the motor assembly (805-271A), motor controller (0552990), slider assembly (805-241A), slider housing (805-248A), housing assembly (805-244A), 2nd stage gear (0558363A), packaged 3rd stage gear assembly (0558362A), capacitor assembly (0522027) and motor baffle (805-460). Our post on the 1040 drive assembly goes through these in more detail.
Upright Cart Assembly
The upright cart assembly (P/N 0552591A) carries the machine around the site. Its diagram lists:
- The cart weldment (0552592A) and the handle assembly (805-206A).
- The wheel (670-109), axle cap (800-019) and wheel spacer (0295687).
- The screw, lock washer and plug hardware.
A damaged cart part does not change how the pump works, but it can make the machine awkward to move, so replace worn wheel or handle parts before they cause a problem.
Filter Assembly
The filter assembly (P/N 805-269A) holds the 60 mesh manifold filter (730-067), the filter spring (14058), the filter support spring (757-105), the filter screen adapter (702-251), the PrimeSpray valve assembly (700-258), the bypass valve assembly (800-925) and the filter housing (805-508). Titan's Impact manuals tell you to inspect the pump filter and the gun filter and to clean or replace them, because dirty filters cause poor spray patterns and clogged tips. Our post on the 1040 filter assembly covers the bypass and prime valve.
How It All Works Together
In sequence: the main assembly's controls and electronics set power and pressure, the drive assembly turns the motor's rotation into pump stroke, the fluid section pushes the coating out through the filter assembly to the hose, and the cart carries the whole machine. A symptom in one place can come from another, such as low pressure caused by a filter or a worn tip rather than a pump part, so confirm the cause before ordering.
Replacement vs Component Repair
The diagrams list most wear items separately. Packings, valve balls, seats and seals each have their own part number, and the 1040 has a repacking kit, so a worn packing set does not mean replacing the whole fluid section. Replacing a full assembly makes more sense when several parts inside it have failed or the housing is damaged. If you are not sure, call (713) 931-0006.
Ordering Related Parts Together
When a repair opens up one assembly, look at the neighbouring diagram while the machine is apart. For example, when you open the fluid section for packings, the same diagram lists the seats, balls and O-rings. The accessories page for the 1040 also lists Piston Lube, Liquid Shield, the gun filters and the tip seat and seal kit, so you can pick up consumables on the same order. See the 1040 accessories diagram. Also see our Impact 1040 parts guide.
How to Order Impact 1040 Parts
AllTitanParts.com is an Authorized Titan Dealer supplying genuine OEM replacement parts for Titan, SpeeFlo, SprayTech and Wagner equipment, based in Houston, Texas. The order cut-off is 12 pm Eastern on business days. Most available items are processed for shipment within about 1-2 business days, and some items are ordered from the manufacturer after you order, so availability shown does not always mean an item is on a shelf (see Shipping Info for delivery estimates).
