Identify a PowrBeast in three steps: the model name (4700, 4700T, 7700 or 9700), the power type (gas or electric) and the fluid section. Titan lists fluid section 537255 for the 4700 and 537256 for the 7700 and 9700, and the site lists 537268 for the 4700T. That narrows the diagram you open and the repacking set you order.
Start with the model name and power type
The PowrBeast line has four model names: 4700, 4700T, 7700 and 9700. Titan does not explain what the numbers or the T stand for, so use them only as names. Then add the power type. The 4700 comes as a gas and as an electric version, the 7700 as a gas and as a 230V electric, and the 9700 appears on the site as a gas model.

The fluid section number tells you the family
The pump end is the clearest way to separate the sizes. Titan's fluid section page lists 537255 for the PowrBeast 4700, gas or electric, and 537256 for the 7700 and 9700. The site also sells 537268 as a fluid section for the 4700T, and the 4700 and 4700T share one fluid section diagram. Whether 537268 and 0537255 can be swapped is not something we can confirm, so do not assume it.
The two families use different parts inside, which is the point of identifying yours. On the diagrams, the 4700 pump lists the 106-002A repacking set, a displacement rod (107-029) and a pump cylinder (107-946). The 7700 and 9700 pump lists the 138-153A repacking kit, a piston rod and a pump cylinder (144-832). If the worn part in your hand has a number that appears on one of those pages and not the other, you have your answer.
Telltale parts on the diagrams
Power-end parts can confirm what you have. They are listed on the Main Assembly pages, and each is specific to one power type:
- 730-163 Engine, Gas, Honda: on the 4700 Main Assembly II page, so a Honda engine on a 4700.
- 0537560A Motor Assembly 120V and 0537495A Transformer: same 4700 page, for the electric 4700.
- 9953704 On/Off Switch and 0537477 Belt DC Electric: on the 7700 Main Assembly I page, for the 7700 230V.
- 0537486 Belt, Gas Engine: on the 9700 Main Assembly I page.
The 7700 pages serve both gas and 230V units, so an electric part showing there does not mean the page is wrong for a gas 7700. It means you have to pick the part that matches your power type.
Sprayer unit numbers
The complete 9700 gas sprayer is on the site as 0537007. We do not list unit numbers for the other versions, because dealer sources do not agree on every one of them. Instead of relying on a unit number from memory, use the model name, the power type and the fluid section as above.

- 4700 or 4700T: fluid section and Main Assembly II.
- 7700 gas or 230V: fluid section 0537256 and Main Assembly I.
- 9700: fluid section II and Main Assembly I.
- Not sure yet: the PowrBeast parts hub.
When you still cannot tell
Call (713) 931-0006 with whatever you have: the model name on the sprayer, whether it has an engine or a cord, and the number on the worn part. The parts team can confirm which diagram fits. Have the serial number ready if you can find it. Relieve pressure with the manual's procedure before you take any part off the sprayer.
