The ThermoMark 250 and 300 are Titan thermoplastic handliners that share one design. The differences Titan lists are the reservoir, 250 lb or 300 lb, and the heat-up time, 45 minutes for 250 lb or 1 hour for 300 lb. Burner, die range and bead dispenser are the same. This site sells no ThermoMark parts.
If you are choosing between the two ThermoMark handliners, the decision is smaller than the model numbers suggest. Titan builds them on one platform, and the headline differences are the size of the reservoir and the time it takes to bring a full load up to temperature. This guide sets the two side by side and then says plainly what this site does and does not supply.
What a thermoplastic handliner does
Thermoplastic striping material is a mixture of glass beads, pigment, binder and filler that turns liquid when heated. A handliner is the walk-behind machine that holds that hot material and lays it down as a line, while glass beads are dropped onto the hot line to give it night-time reflectivity.
On the ThermoMark the line is formed by a die. Titan's standard application die runs from 4 in. at the minimum to 12 in. at the maximum, and custom and dual-line dies are available. A wheel-driven bead dispenser follows the ground speed, so the bead rate tracks how fast you walk.

Weights, shipping weights and bead reservoir sizes are left out on purpose: the sources we found disagree. Use the figures in Titan's operating manual.
Read the table by what it leaves unchanged. The burner, fuel, die range and bead widths are the same, so moving from one to the other does not change how the machine heats or what line it can lay. You are choosing a larger or smaller reservoir. The 300 holds more material per fill and takes longer to heat a full load, by Titan's own heat-up figures.

Heating and fuel
Both machines are heated by propane. Titan requires a 20 lb bottle, and the main burner is a twin Ransome unit rated at 40000 BTU, with an infrared heater keeping the die warm. A hot reservoir, an open flame and a propane cylinder sit together on a handliner, so lighting, shutdown and cylinder handling should follow the procedure in Titan's operating manual for your unit rather than habit from another machine.
Single drop or double drop
Each model comes in single drop and double drop configurations. Titan does not spell out in the sources we found what the drop count means for a particular line, so confirm that with the dealer or the manual before you specify one. What does not change is the bead dispenser: it is proportioned to ground speed, and its width lever can be set to 4 in., 6 in., 8 in. or 12 in., or to OFF when a section needs no beads.
Supplying the handliner, and what the site carries
Titan's FastMelt 650 is a separate melter that Titan says is compatible with any ThermoMark applicator. It melts and holds the thermoplastic, and the handliner applies it. The melter has its own explanation in our FastMelt 650 and ThermoMark guide, so it is only mentioned here.
