C.A Tech CPR Smart Pack Spray Gun
Professional Pressure-Feed Fine-Finish Spray Gun Kit
CPR Smart Pack Spray Gun is a C.A. Technologies pressure-feed finishing kit combining CPR pressure-reduced atomization with three 0.8, 1.3 and 1.7 mm needle/nozzle setups, two air caps and service tools for professional finishing across a broad range of coating viscosities.
The CPR Smart Pack includes the CPR pressure-feed gun, three needle/nozzle combinations, CPR 23-2101 and HVLP 23-1301 air caps, plus gun-service tools. A pressure cup is not part of the standard Smart Pack; cup-equipped CPR packages are separate configurations.
| Detail | Technical / Commercial Information |
|---|---|
| Product Overview | Professional C.A. Technologies CPR Smart Pack built around the full-size CPR pressure-feed spray gun. The package includes three fluid needle/nozzle combinations, two air caps and gun-service tools, providing multiple finishing configurations from one kit. |
| Function | Uses a pressurized fluid supply and compressed air to atomize finishing materials. C.A. Technologies developed CPR, or CAT Pressure Reduced, technology to combine high transfer efficiency with the application speed and finish quality associated with conventional air spray. |
| Industrial Applications | Suitable for professional wood finishing, cabinetry, furniture, millwork, automotive finishing and general production finishing where the coating viscosity and selected fluid setup fall within the manufacturer's recommendations. |
| Accurate Compatible Titan Machines | The CPR Smart Pack is a complete compressed-air pressure-feed spray-gun kit rather than a replacement component for a specific Titan airless sprayer. It requires an appropriate compressed-air source and separate compatible pressurized fluid supply. |
| Accurate Part Number | Manufacturer documentation identifies this configuration as CPR / CPR Smart Pack. Distributor catalog references may use catalog-specific identifiers such as CACPR; this should not be confused with the separate CPR-303R2 pressure-cup package. |
| Compatible Parts & Assemblies | The Smart Pack includes 0.8 mm, 1.3 mm and 1.7 mm needle/nozzle setups plus two air caps. The 23-2101 CPR air cap supports the applicable 0.8–1.7 mm fluid-orifice range, while the supplied 23-1301 HVLP air cap provides an alternative HVLP atomization configuration. |
| Related Parts Commonly Serviced Together | Relevant service items include the 10-106 CPR repair kit, fluid needles and nozzles, 23-2101 CPR air cap, 23-1301 HVLP air cap, seals and packing components. The Smart Pack also includes 98-0104 3/8-inch socket, 98-0112 ratchet wrench, 60-8001 gun wrench and 98-0113 gun cleaning brush. |
| Common Problems Solved | Reduces the need to purchase separate spray guns for several common material viscosities. Changing the needle/nozzle and air-cap configuration allows contractors and finishers to adapt the same CPR gun to thin, medium and heavier compatible coatings while maintaining controlled professional atomization. |
| Use with Coating Systems | The 0.8 mm setup can be used for very thin materials such as stains, dyes and similar finishes; 1.3 mm configurations cover many lacquers, enamels, primers, sealers and medium-viscosity coatings; the 1.7 mm setup extends capability toward heavier primers, high-solids enamels and other suitable heavier materials. Final setup must follow coating-manufacturer requirements. |
| OEM & Brand Information | The CPR Smart Pack is manufactured by C.A. Technologies / Coating Atomization Technologies. It has appeared in Titan-distributed finishing-equipment literature, but it should not be represented as a Titan-manufactured spray gun. |
| Commercial Benefits | Three fluid setups and two air caps give professional finishers a versatile package for multiple coating types. The CPR air cap consumes approximately 11 CFM at 29 PSI and provides up to a 13-inch published pattern, while the HVLP 23-1301 cap consumes approximately 13.5 CFM at 29 PSI with up to a 12-inch published pattern. |
Contractor Selection Insight
Choose the CPR Smart Pack when you already have, or plan to use, a compatible pressure-pot or other pressurized fluid-supply system and want the gun with multiple fluid setups rather than a bundled pressure cup. If you need a complete portable 1-quart regulated cup package, the separate CPR-303R2 configuration is the more appropriate CPR package.
