C.A Tech CAT-XPR CAT-Xpress HVLP Spray Gun
C.A. TECHNOLOGIES PROFESSIONAL PRESSURE-FEED SPRAY GUN
CAT-XPR CAT-Xpress HVLP / Pressure-Reduced Spray Gun Smart Pack combines professional fine-finish atomization with interchangeable spray technologies. Three 0.8, 1.3 and 1.8 mm needle/nozzle setups, two air caps, stainless-steel fluid passages, tools and carrying case provide versatile finishing capability.
Use the included HVLP or pressure-reduced air cap to configure the CAT-Xpress for the finishing application. The CAT-XPR Smart Pack is intended for use with a separate pressure-fed fluid supply; a pressure cup, regulator and compressor are not included in this package.

| Product Overview | CAT-XPR is the C.A. Technologies CAT-Xpress Smart Pack, a professional pressure-feed fine-finish spray-gun package. It includes the CAT-Xpress gun, 0.8 mm, 1.3 mm and 1.8 mm needle/nozzle setups, HVLP and pressure-reduced air caps, gun wrench, cleaning brush, Allen wrench and carrying case. The gun weighs approximately 20 oz. and uses stainless-steel fluid passages. |
| Function | Atomizes pressure-fed coating material using compressed air for controlled professional finishing. Changing the air cap allows the operator to configure the gun for HVLP or pressure-reduced spraying. The included nozzle/needle sets provide practical material-range flexibility, while fan, needle-stroke and air controls allow the spray pattern and delivery characteristics to be adjusted for the workpiece and coating. |
| Industrial Applications | Designed for professional fine-finishing operations including woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, millwork, metal finishing, automotive refinishing and industrial coating applications. Manufacturer application guidance covers materials ranging from thin stains, dyes and solvents through lacquers, enamels, primers, sealers, automotive coatings, epoxies and urethanes when an appropriate nozzle, air cap and fluid-delivery setup is selected. |
| Accurate Compatible Titan Machines | CAT-XPR is not a Titan-manufactured replacement component with a defined list of compatible Titan airless machines. It is a C.A. Technologies pressure-feed spray gun requiring compressed air plus a separate compatible pressurized fluid supply. Do not select it as a replacement gun for a Titan airless sprayer solely because the product appears in a Titan/Wagner distribution channel. |
| Accurate Part Number | CAT-XPR — C.A. Technologies CAT-Xpress Smart Pack. Related packages are CAT-XPR-303R2, which adds a 1-quart aluminum pressure cup and regulator, and CAT-XPR-PPSR2, which adds a PPS pressure-cup system and associated components. CAT-XPR itself is the Smart Pack and does not include a pressure cup or fluid-supply system. |
| Compatible Parts & Assemblies | The included 0.8 mm setup uses fluid tip 2404488 and needle 2397054; the 1.3 mm setup uses tip 2412850 and needle 2412848; and the 1.8 mm setup uses tip 2404493 and needle 2397059. The standard pressure-reduced air cap for these sizes is 2403218 and the HVLP air cap is 2403233. The gun uses a 1/4-inch NPS male air inlet and 3/8-inch NPS male fluid inlet. |
| Related Parts Commonly Serviced Together | Common service points include the selected fluid nozzle and matching needle, air cap, air-cap ring 2400154, air-cap sealing ring, fluid-nozzle body, air baffle, needle-packing assembly, fluid inlet and associated O-rings and seals. Manufacturer documentation identifies 2411779 as the CAT-Xpress repair kit. Nozzle and needle components should be matched by size rather than mixed between configurations. |
| Common Problems Solved | Provides one professional gun platform for shops that need both HVLP and pressure-reduced spray technology rather than maintaining separate guns for each method. Multiple included nozzle sizes help accommodate different coating viscosities, while quick fan adjustment, ergonomic controls and a lightweight 20-ounce gun body support production finishing and reduce unnecessary changeover between different applications. |
| Use with Coating Systems | Manufacturer guidance pairs 0.8–1.0 mm orifices with very thin materials such as inks, dyes, solvents and stains; 1.2–1.3 mm sizes with thinner lacquers, enamels, primers and sealers; and 1.2–1.8 mm configurations with medium materials including automotive base coats, enamels, primers, epoxies, urethanes and clear coats. Actual nozzle and air-cap selection must be based on material viscosity and application requirements. |
| OEM & Brand Information | CAT-Xpress is manufactured by C.A. Technologies, a Wagner Group brand. It should not be described as a Titan-manufactured or Titan OEM spray gun. The CAT-Xpress platform is C.A. Technologies professional pressure-feed finishing equipment and uses genuine C.A. Technologies CAT-Xpress replacement air caps, needles, nozzles, seals and service components. |
| Commercial Benefits | The CAT-XPR Smart Pack gives professional finishers three commonly useful needle/nozzle configurations and two spray technologies in one package. Its 9 CFM air requirement, stainless-steel fluid passages, adjustable controls and pressure-feed design make it a versatile choice for shops that regularly switch between coating types while prioritizing fine atomization, transfer efficiency and finish quality. |
Contractor Selection Insight
Choose CAT-XPR when you already have a compatible pressure-fed fluid source and want maximum flexibility from the CAT-Xpress gun. The Smart Pack supplies three nozzle/needle sizes plus both HVLP and pressure-reduced air caps, but no pressure cup. For a self-contained 1-quart pressure-cup package, compare CAT-XPR-303R2 instead. Match compressor capacity to the gun's 9 CFM air requirement.
