Titan 930-006 is an OEM 50 mesh manifold filter element with an integrated check ball, the standard filtration media for latex and normal architectural coatings in professional Titan airless sprayers. This stainless steel filter element installs inside the high-pressure filter body and traps medium-sized debris before it can reach the spray tip, while the integrated check ball works with the spring and carbide seat to control flow and reduce hydraulic shock at stroke changeover. The 50 mesh designation provides balanced filtration for the majority of professional coatings, capturing particles that would clog finer 100 mesh elements while allowing the material to flow freely without excessive restriction. Official Titan documentation specifies the 930-006 as the standard filter element supplied with many sprayers, while 930-005 (5 mesh) is for heavy and mastic materials and 930-007 (100 mesh) is for stains and lacquers. Over time, filter elements can become clogged with dried material, or the integrated check ball can become damaged or worn, leading to restricted flow, poor spray patterns, and pressure loss. When servicing the 930-006 Manifold Filter, inspect the integrated check ball for pressure cuts or scratches. If damaged, replace the entire filter element. Clean the screen element thoroughly on the inside by soaking in solvent to loosen hardened paint. The 930 Series filter elements filter from the inside out. Inspect the carbide seat and PTFE O-ring during service, as removal of the O-ring for seat inspection will damage it and require replacement.
