The 800-510A Slide Assembly is accessed during drive system service. To expose the connecting pin, position the crankshaft/slider assembly at the bottom dead-center of its stroke by toggling the sprayer on and off in short bursts. After pressure relief and unplugging, slide the retaining ring up to expose the connecting pin, then push it forward to release the fluid section. Inspect the slider assembly for scoring or movement beyond normal pivoting; replace if worn. Lubricate the slider housing bore and slider outside diameter with oil during reassembly.
