The 236-012 Outlet Valve Seat is a precision-machined component that provides the sealing surface for the outlet valve on compatible PowrLiner, PowrTex, and PowrTwin sprayer models. It works in conjunction with the valve ball or poppet to control material flow out of the pump, ensuring proper pressure maintenance and preventing backflow.

The outlet valve seat is critical to pump performance. During the pressure stroke, the valve ball or poppet seats against this surface, creating a seal that allows pressurized material to flow out through the outlet. When the pump cycles to the suction stroke, the valve closes, preventing material from being drawn back into the pump from the outlet side. The seat must maintain a smooth, precise surface to ensure a perfect seal with the valve element, preventing internal leakage and pressure loss.

Over time, outlet valve seats can become worn, pitted, or scored due to the constant impact of the valve ball and the flow of material.
