The 142-003 Lower Packing Spring is a precision spring designed to maintain proper tension on the lower packing set in the pump fluid section of compatible sprayer models. It ensures consistent sealing pressure against the piston or rod, preventing fluid bypass and maintaining pump efficiency.

In reciprocating pump designs, packing sets create a dynamic seal around the moving piston or rod.
